Are you dealing with a leak from the connection between your Hydrant and the plumbing?

  • Did you apply 3-5 wraps of teflon tape?
  • Did you tighten down the adapter piece that connects to the rear valve of your Hydrant?
  • If the leak persists please contact us directly.

Are you dealing with a leak when engaging the Hose Connector with the Hydrant?

  • If you have a V2 or V2+, the vacuum breaker valve may be causing water to flow out incorrectly.
  • Watch this video to see if the vacuum breaker is oriented in the right direction.

Are you getting a leak when the Hydrant is not engaged?

  • The internal valve of the Hydrant is not seating correctly, which may be caused by debris or damage to the O-ring. Cycle the Hydrant on/off 5-10 times to see if the leak stops.
